WHO IS LOLROLLING?
Here, I will give you the basic details about myself. There’s not much to know about me so it’ll be a quick read, I guess.
I am a twenty something year old girl from Thailand! For those who doesn’t know where in the world Thailand is (just in case), here’s the map of where it is on Earth:
The country is located in South East Asia and has great tourist attractions (mostly in the South with the beaches)! It does not snow here (which sucks for us because it’s too hot, not that I know what snow feels like) since it is so close to the equator, but we have hail up in the northern areas. And no, we do not use elephants as the main mode of transportation. Some people use them, but it’s not common, and it is mainly for tourists… mainly.
The food is exquisite and amazing. I am sure y’all have heard of the famous “somtum” (ส้มตำ) or the spicy papaya salad:
But what you may not know is that there a large variety of somtums, and there are a lot more interesting food in Thailand that you may have never heard of.
Okay, none of the above is really about me but you have just witness a gist of my passion for food and geography. LOL. Anyways! I did say that I recently graduated from university. Where from?
The university is located in the city of Bangkok and it is surrounded by department stores and easily accessible via skytrain (BTS) and subway (MRT) Being in one of the top universities in Thailand, I feel proud to be a part of this institution. I studied in what is called the BALAC, which is abbreviated from:
Bachelor of Arts in Language And Culture.
It is the international program for Arts within the institute that has been open for almost ten years! There are an increasing number of exchange students every year and I hope people from all over the world comes over! I also take Japanese as my minor subject so I can speak, read and write three languages (ภาษาไทย, English, and 日本語). It is a super fun place to learn at, very stressful, but very life-changingly fun! If you guys are interested, you can see if there are any student-exchange programs. It’ll be awesome!
I am very intrigued with the Japanese language and culture. It is just fascinating! The subculture there is included into everything there! I love it and also the food. Oh good God, the food. I have been there once, and I would love to go there again… and again, and again, and again! It is just an amazing place! Unfortunately for myself, I have never set foot out of Asia… I rarely go out of the country at all. I mean, I would love to travel, but the opportunity never arises. In the future I wish I could go.
What else is there to say about me… I’ll write more later OR you will have to read my blogs to find out more!!
I am just a nobody who wants to be a somebody!
